Our Target

The Issues4Life Foundation .. targets and works directly with Black American leaders to strengthen their stand against abortion and resolve the issues surrounding the moral responsibility of bio-technology in the Black American community.

Our Strategy

Our strategy is to settle the facts. Who is the baby and what does abortion do to him or her.

Our Mission

Our mission is to raise awareness of the impact of abortion and the biblically immoral implementation of bio-technology in todays Black American community.

Our Goals

·  Zero Black American lives lost to abortion and/or the biblically immoral implementation of bio-technology.
·  Zero Black American leaders unaware of the impact of abortion and/or the biblically moral responsibility of bio-technology.

Our Future

We can see a future where those most vulnerable to abuse in the Black American community are defended and human dignity is promoted.

Our Prayer

"If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." — (2nd Chronicles 7:14)

Our Belief

The Issues4Life Foundation agrees, wholeheartedly, with the Catholic Church's teaching that is defined clearly in the 1974 CDF document Declaration On Procured Abortion (12):

"From the time that the ovum is fertilized, a life is begun which is neither that of the father nor of the mother, it is rather the life of a new human being with his [or her] own growth."

Black Baby! "The Negro cannot win as long as he is willing to sacrifice the lives of his children for comfort and safety."
— Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The California Human Rights Amendment
by Walter B. Hoye II

founder This month I will submit language to the California Attorney General and request Title and Summary for the California Human Rights Amendment. This amendment recognizes the pre-born child as a person, a human being that desires to be protected by both love and law.

The California Human Rights Amendment believes the baby inside the womb of his or her mother is a human being that must be respected and treated as a person from the very moment of conception.

What am I hoping to accomplish with the California Human Rights Amendment?

I am hoping to construct a discussion that is deliberately focused on the child inside the womb of his or her mother.

I believe when the abortion issue is confronted with the understanding that abortion is killing an innocent human being the discussion has the power to save the soul of our country.

I believe this because I believe "God's truth" is stronger than "Satan's lie" (see Romans 5:20).

Martin Luther King, Jr. once said he believed that "unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. That is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant."

So do I.

Still, this effort has been met by some with responses that reflect skepticism at the least or outright scorn at the most. Such are among those that believe now is not the time to fight for the personhood of the child inside the womb. In their opinion the California Human Rights Amendment is not practical.

In my opinion the lack of a "practical solution" to save the lives of innocent human beings is not reason enough to oppose those who are willing to implement "impractical" solutions (see 1st Samuel 14:6).

If "failed escape attempts" meant the end of any and all efforts to be free, then at the very least, all African-Americans would still be slaves.

If "lack of public support" meant the end of any and all efforts to survive, then at the very least, there would be no Jewish holocaust survivors.

If "overwhelming odds" meant the end of any and all efforts to stand for what you believe in, would the United States of America have been born?

If "practical solutions" represent the "high moral" ground then how do we account for God's command to lead souls to Christ by preaching the Gospel?

Christianity is not practical.

Christianity is, however, righteous.

When we fight among ourselves we do the work of our enemy for him.

I wonder, why can't we attack our enemy on multiple fronts?

I wonder, why not force our enemy to defend his position by fighting multiple battles?

I wonder, why would we allow our enemy to dictate how the battle will be fought, where the battle will be fought and when the battle will be fought?

My friend, Mark Cructher, founder and President of Life Dynamics (LDI) expresses his endorsement of the California Human Rights Amendment this way:

"We have nibbled around the edges of the abortion holocaust for almost forty years and, during that time, more than 50 million babies have been slaughtered. Somewhere along the way, we lost sight of the fact that our goal is not to regulate abortion, restrict abortion, reduce the numbers of abortions or hammer out some sort of accommodation with the abortion lobby. Today, the most important question for the pro-life movement is: when are we going to return to our roots and drive a stake through the heart of this foul-smelling beast? And that doesn't mean simply overturning Roe v. Wade. It means passing a constitutional amendment that affirms the personhood of the unborn from the instant of fertilization. Until that happens, this battle cannot end; it can only ebb and flow."

Finally, there is no question it is my people that are most impacted by this holocaust.

This is why I cannot wait.

Every day I wait for more favorable conditions, such as polls, political equity and proper funding, my people are dying.

I cannot wait.

I hope you will join me.
