Pastor of the New Calvary Baptist Church
"The New Calvary Baptist Church is a dynamic, engaging Christ center non-traditional church, where we serve the Lord GOD Almighty, help people and transform the community." 1 — Dr. Clenard H. Childress, Jr.

Pastor Childress successfully completed Northern Baptist School of Religion in 1986 where he majored in Christian Education. Two (2) years later, in 1988, he was ordained by the North Jersey Shiloh Association and later installed as Senior Pastor of New Calvary Baptist Church in April of 1989.Pastor Clenard Howard Childress, Jr., a life long resident of Montclair, New Jersey, joined the New Calvary Baptist Church in September of 1974 under the pastorate of Dr. Shellie Sampson. In 1978, he was appointed Director of the Youth Department, to organize and educate youth. He also served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Superintendent of the Sunday School Department and Vice-President of the Outreach Ministries. Pastor Childress successfully completed Northern Baptist School of Religion in 1986 where he majored in Christian Education. He was ordained in 1988 by the North Jersey Shiloh Association and later installed as Senior Pastor of New Calvary in April of 1989. According to Pastor Clenard Howard Childress, Jr., the road to heaven is not without its pitfalls and dangers. We must realize we wont get there without each other and the road least traveled often is the designated route of the Holy Spirit. Forsake not the assembling of yourselves together especially as you see the day of the Lord approaching. (Hebrews 10:25) God is calling us to leave our allegiances to this world system and walk in the Kingdom. We can never be a clear witness and reminder to the world if those in it see no apparent difference. This is how they shall know they are Mine by the love you have for one another.(John 13:35) That love is achieved by fellowship with Him and one another. While we are in perpetual transition till He comes we will learn to reach out for the creatures made in His image and be a light that they may become seekers of Christ and join us on the journey.

Walk for Life West Coast Speaker
"Truth is rising up and you are the picture of that truth. We will not draw back until every child is free." 2 — Dr. Clenard H. Childress, Jr.

Pastor Clenard Childress has spoken at almost every Walk for Life West Coast since 2005.Pastor Clenard Howard Childress, Jr., has spoken at almost every Walk West for Life Coast since its founding in 2005. The mission of the Walk for Life West Coast is to change the perceptions of a society that thinks abortion is an answer. Abortion does violence to women and to their children, both physically and emotionally. Believing all of us deserve better than abortion, the Walk for Life West Coast works hard to establish a new West Coast tradition of celebrating life and calls for solidarity among women and all people of good will in affirming human life. Understanding that abortion harms both women and men, the Walk for Life West Coast and Pastor Clenard Howard Childress, Jr. also understands that abortion divides families and society.

"The leading cause of death in the African-American community is abortion, and the leading provider of abortion, is Planned Parenthood. All the sociological data proves Planned Parenthood has deliberately chosen the Black American community to be its preferred clients. The founding mother of Planned Parenthood was the notorious Margaret Sanger, and what was her purpose? To execute her Negro Project whose goal would be to ensure there be far less Black Americans." 3 — Dr. Clenard H. Childress, Jr.

Issues4Life Foundation's Donations Page.Dear friends, Lori and I need to reach one-hundred (100) new donors giving twenty ($20.00) a month before the end of this year. Please Help Us! This newsletter highlights the uncompromising work of the Issues4Life Foundation. As you can see, this type of outreach has no precedent and is unparalleled in its ability to address the heart of the matter, strengthen Black leadership's stand against abortion on demand and answers the questions surrounding the bioethical issues that impact our humanity. Lori and I really need your help. The Pro-Life movement cannot conduct her business as usual and wait until 2020 to reach out to Black America. We've got to go to work now and in ways that reflect and resolve the ever increasing difficulty of our task. This is why we need your help.
