2008 Oakland History

Father Frank Pavone (Priests for Life, National Director), Dr. Alveda C. King (niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.) and Walter B. Hoye II (Founder, Issues4Life Foundation) list to the City of Oakland explain why Sister King cannot greet the City of Oakland during the City's Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration. However, the Mayor's office got wind of this pending scandal and opened the door to allow Sister King to speak to Oakland.
