On Saturday, January 19th, 2008, Walter and Lori Hoye were the recipients of the 4th Annual Walk for Life West Coast St. Gianna Molla Award for Pro-Life Heroism.

On Saturday, January 19th, 2008, Walter and Lori Hoye were honored to say thank you, on behalf of all the "Walk for Life West Coast" volunteers, to the founders of the "Walk for Life West Coast", Eva Muntean and Dolores Meehan, for their divinely inspired work to save the life of the unborn child.

The 4th Annual Walk for Life was a huge success with over 25,000 peaceful supporters walking for life.

The national debate over abortion came to San Francisco's waterfront on Saturday, as thousands of abortion opponents marched peacefully along the Embarcadero while supporters of legal abortion staged a counter-protest alongside them.
