National Day of Mourning

"Tears stream from our eyes because of the destruction of our people!" — (Lamentations 3:48)

National Day of Mourning On Monday, February 28th, 2011 in response to the continued epidemic of abortion in the Black community and the recent revelations of Black Philadelphia Abortionist Kermit Gosnell's house of abortion horrors, a National Day of Mourning has been called into being by the National Black Pro-Life Coalition. All across the country, Americans are invited to mourn the loss of over 55 million babies killed by the Supremely wicked Supreme Court decisions of legalized abortion, known as Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton. Join us as we gather to mourn the loss of life and the wounding of women by the violent act of "choice". Click here for more information.

Black Children Are An Endangered Species

"The most dangerous place for an African American to be is in the womb of his or her African American mother." — Dr. Clenard H. Childress, (Black Genocide Project)

Endangered Species Campaign According to the Alan Guttmacher Institute (AGI), Black Americans account for 30%1 of all abortions nationwide, even though the racial group only comprises 13%2 of the population. In New York City alone, Black Americans in 2008 had 1,260 abortions for every 1,000 live births, clearly modeling a race in decline.3 With so many resources available to women and men facing unexpected pregnancies, and incredible life-affirming options like parenthood and adoption, there's no reason why anyone (98% of cases are due to personal choice, not medical/health reasons)4 has to resort to destruction by abortion. Currently the Issues4Life Foundation is partnering with the Radiance Foundation and the Pro-Life community in Los Angeles to sponsor seventy (70) of these billboards in the city of the angels. What Has Happened To Our Society?

"I am not willing to — allow this concept of expendable human lives to turn this great land of ours into just another exclusive reservation where only the perfect, the privileged, and the planned have the right to live." — Dr. Mildred F. Jefferson, M.D. (1926-2010), American pro-life pioneer and American Life League (ALL) Board Member

Abortion Effects All Of Us My friend Ryan Bomberger, CEO of the Radiance Foundation5, whose biological mother was raped yet still went through nine (9) months of pregnancy to give him life. Ryan was adopted at six (6) weeks of age and grew up in a loving, multi-racial family of fifteen (15). My brother in Christ is a strong champion for the pre-born and recently waxed eloquent when he said: "Abolitionists didn't settle for slavery reduction; many risked their reputations and their very lives to call for the end of a system of human degradation, not its continuation through appeasement and mutual understanding. Oh, what happens to a society that can't even act against the most blatant form of evil?" Awesome question Ryan! Such leads me to seriously reflect upon the Church and ask my own question: What has happened to the Body of Christ that she can't act, in concert, against the most blatant form of evil?

Brothers, we really need to talk.
